Consulting

It’s amazing how many different opinions you can get when it comes to nutrition. Calories-in/Calories-out versus good fats/bad fats versus eating for you blood type versus who knows what. It’s hard to keep up with all the changes in the industry and differing opinions and new research. This is real life and we need real solutions that can help you reach real goals.

It’s also amazing how much the fitness industry has changed in the past few years. With the introduction of functional fitness and weightlifting to the general public, more and more women are demonstrating their abilities as the athletes that they have always been! Strong is the new awesome and using your body for what it was made for is super cool.

But navigating these two worlds is hard. Like, really hard.

That’s where we come in. Real life options for everyday female athletes, as an option for women looking to improve in all aspects of their lives through targeted nutrition and fitness options. We provide results based nutrition programming for women of all athletic abilities, from beginners looking to learn the ropes to advanced athletes preparing for their next competition.

No two women are alike, and that’s amazing. Your nutrition needs aren’t either, and that’s why we offer the ability to tailor your program to what you need instead of what we think you want. Set up a time to chat today by emailing us at shecompetes@gmail.com.

About Ashley

Ashl12182956_933581933345972_7250209986859696358_oey Stewart is a graduate of Villanova University and a current candidate for a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health with a focus in Human Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. Ashley’s health and fitness journey started in 2011 – though she always considered herself ‘healthy’, she struggled with migraine headaches, blood-sugar control, and rarely exercised.

After finding CrossFit in 2011, Ashley discovered how to eat for performance and was able to begin controlling her physical symptoms. Her transformation led to a personal passion for health and fitness and a journey toward health as a career.

Ashley and her husband live outside of Houston, Texas with their rescue dog, Juna. They are the proud parents of Jackson, a heart warrior with tetralogy of fallot and other birth anomalies.
